Mike Danko KPIX 5 Interview: CAL Fire Finds PG&E Responsible for Camp Fire; Might Face Criminal Charges

Camp Fire Attorney Mike Danko talked with KPIX 5 on CAL Fire’s official report on their findings that PG&E is responsible for sparking the 2018 Camp Fire. When talking with KPIX 5, Mike Danko discussed the possibility of PG&E being found criminally charged for the many lives lost during the devastating fire. During the interview Mike stated:

“Even if you didn’t intend to kill that person, but you had a utter disregard for the person’s safety and you end up killing someone, you can be guilty of second degree murder. That’s what I think the Butte County District Attorney is going to be looking at.”

California’s most devastating wildfire resulted in the deaths of over 80 people, which Mike believes may result in PG&E facing criminal charges now that CAL Fire reports confirm PG&E transmission lines sparked the Camp Fire.
